WHO WE ARE



Mark Burt - Founder

Mark’s background is in travel and tourism, heading up Tourism New Zealand’s PR team in Los Angeles amongst other place branding roles. Returning to New Zealand, Mark recognised an opportunity to create a boutique agency to serve the active lifestyle brands that form part of his love for the outdoors. When not on the tools at Sizzle, you’ll find Mark in his vege garden or at the beach. Based in sunny Gisborne on New Zealand’s East Coast, Mark travels to the US regularly for in-person planning, events and to keep his finger on the media pulse.










Hanna Reynolds - Media Lead

Hanna is Sizzle’s media relations lead. Having worked in PR in NZ and the US, she likes to get inside the heads of journalists and write the pitch they’ve been dreaming of. Finding the hook and crafting stories that people can’t resist reading is what gets her brain going. When she’s not at her laptop, she’s probably at her local Auckland beach surfing 1ft rollers, or in the mountains with her family, chasing the best view.
